Are you a blogger who earns money through your blog? Are you a blogger who does product reviews? If you answered yes to either of these questions or both then according to Pinterest TOS you are considered a business. With that being said Pinterest has new terms and that is that if you are a business you should be signed up with a business account instead of a personal account.
YIKES!!! I know your probably thinking the same thing I was thinking... I am NOT going to start all over with all my pins, or Oh my Gosh what about my boards and pins I dont want to lose them. Well sit back and take a breath!!! Its VERY EASY to convert your personal page into a business page within a matter of a few mins. If you follow the EASY simple directions below you will be switched to business side in no time
There isnt much difference between the two accounts but just think of it as a way to draw in more followers or customers and now you have labeled yourself business=professional.
Here are the EASY STEPS to follow:
1. Login to your personal account
2. Now go to Pinterest for Business
3. Push the CONVERT button ( it will be in smaller print under Join as business... )
4. Fill in all of your info! YOUR DONE!!!
When filling in your info I made sure I put in my blog address and made sure I changed my "name or company name" as my blog name.
